I haven't been able but just to scrape the surface yet but already I'm finding this group fascinating

There's a member who claims to have cured her lipomas with Noni Juice and Grape Seed Extract.

She says she don't think she has Dercum's but multiple lipomas. She found out about the protocol from Dr. Herbst and says if she doesn't follow the protocol, the lipomas return. She's been diagnosed with Lyme disease.

Protocol:
1/2 ounce of noni juice daily
1 x 50mg capsule grape seed extract, brand is Jarrow Formula's, labelled OPCs+95

I am able to completely shrink my lipomas by drinking noni juice and taking grapeseed extract capsules, as Dr Herbst recommended awhile ago.

Grape Seed Extract as we already know is actibacterial. Noni Juice is made from Polynesian plant called Morinda citrifolia. Morinda citrifolia is also antimicrobial.

There was one contradictory post which said it did nothing even when used for months. This might be that we respond differently to different treatments. But who knows, this might work for some of us...

Found another supporting msg from the group where a guy tells that the combination of Grape Seed Extract (GSE) and Noni Juice (NJ) helped him to heal his Dercum's disease (DD). He says that during the 13 months there has been a gradual reduction in size and quantity of the lipomas.

He still has lipomas though but he is expecting them to disappear also although the process has been long and deliberate.

He mentions as an interesting side note about his keloided scars which he has had for years. The scars have since flushed with the surrounding skin and the tough keloid skin has disappeared.

Frustratingly his last message is from October 2009

Again for this post the are multiple replies that the protocol is not working for them.

I just ordered some noni juice extract (Doctor's Best, Best Noni Concentrate, 650 mg), pine bark extract (Now Foods, Pine Bark Extract, 240 mg) and grape seed extract (Healthy Origins, MegaNatural-BP Grape Seed Extract, 300 mg) although some said they did nothing and especially the noni juice extract was said to be somehow less potent than the juice.

IHerb sent me an email that they have a free international airmail delivery campaign going on so I figured why not give it a try...

But let's see. I think I will try them for a month or two. Will report to you later.

I don't know yet but don't worry. I'm only going to take one set of supplements at a time so that I can verify which works and which does not.

I just want to be prepared to test everything, and because IHerb had a campaign going on I went for it.

Do you happen to remember the brand / dosage?
You probably didn't combine noni juice to your diet like the Dercum's group advised?

Your reply is in line with some of the group members, they noticed nothing even when they combined grape fruitt extract with noni juicew and after monthsof consumption.

But some claimed the supplements removed their lipomas totally. It is possible that different people benefit from different supplements and not everything works everybody. We don't know.

Yes, I'm in Finland. I guess you live in US? Try some natural product stores. Atleast grape seed extract should be widely available. Not so sure about noni juice...

No I live in Finland, that's why I asked. My bad, I wasn't very clear about that

Overall, the products sold in European markets are very low on the active ingredients Which is why I have turned to IHerb. They also give me some nice free samples and discounts. I'm sure there are other good online shops too but I like IHerb.

Grape extracts are known to have antibacterial effects. There's a study which shows that the most antibacterial is Muscadine grape skin, followed by grape synergy (skin and seed) and seed.

The more I read about all these possible solutions the more convinced I get that the cause for lipomas one way or another is the bacteria..
Anyway, we have another supplement to try. I'll happily join this after I finish the Pomaway treatment (which will be in 1.5 months). Meanwhile, Matt, if you happen to start testing this, please keep us up to date and of course thank you for bringing this whole thing up!
