A shot in the dark...I received recent blood work results that show extremely high levels of LDL, the bad cholesterol. I had not had my cholesterol checked in about 3 years time at which time it was assessed as borderline. In the last year, in particular, I’ve experienced a massive increase in the number if new lipomas, and many preexisting lipomas increase in size. I’m generally fairly fit and eat mostly healthy foods
Could there be a link between cholesterol, a fat, and lipomas? I ask this as a layperson with no background in science, biology or medicine. Could there be an issue with how some of our bodies/livers process fats?

Re: Cholesterol
I have elevated cholesterol, but that by itself is not an indicator since some people with slim body also gets lipoma.
