"Twisting" Lipomas

As many of you probably do, I constantly "play" with my lipomas.
I had a larger one in my forearm, which was one of the largest in my arms (a little bigger than 1").
About a month ago I was messing with it and it flipped over under my skin.
Although it hurt a little, I left it like that in resentment of my condition.
It bruised the next day, but I decided to leave it alone, almost as a power trip over it.
Anyway, I started noticing the pain went away, and it was getting smaller.
Although the lipoma is still there, it is MUCH smaller.
It is only ~1/4" now, and not noticeable unless I push on it.
About a week ago, I decided to try it again, but this time on purpose, and I am having the same result.
I believe it is twisting the vein/s (not sure if that's what "feeds" them), and cutting off the "supply" of what ever they need.
Just thought I would share, and to see if anyone else has done this with any effect.

This is very very interesting. I had a similar experience a few years ago. There was a lipoma that seemed to have grown twice it's size in only a couple days on my forearm and it was very visible. Out of frustration, one day, I squeezed it and pinched it as hard as I could, just to see what would happen. Basically it bruised and did nothing, but the next day I woke up and it was gone. However a few weeks later I found another lipoma of similar size about 4-5 inches away from the old one, but in a spot that is much less visible. So maybe it just moved, or coincidentally grew another one close by? Not sure, but interesting nonetheless.

Hi tyota! Thanks for posting your experience. I have the feeling that you might be correct. I think you may have accidentally cut the blood supply to the lipoma - at least temporarily. Unfortunately, these things have the capability to grow new veins. But maybe you got lucky and the tumor is in regression!

I believe many of the injection treatments function similarly. They "destroy" the normal functionality of the tumor and it goes into necrosis.

hmm, I touch mine from time to time but never felt I severed anything or had that effect. Damn, must be really cool to wake up and not have a lipoma in a certain spot
